Démarche artistique d’Adélaïde Leferme (en anglais)
Adélaïde Leferme, painter and visual artist, holds a degree from the École des Beaux-Arts and combines her talents as an interior architect and cultural engineer. Her numerous travels around the world, along with her constant and meticulous observations of everyday life, have enabled her to develop a profound understanding of the themes she explores with passion: a mythology of the everyday, which she depicts in a style that is both figurative and dreamlike.
Through refined mixed techniques, blending gold leaf and precious pigments, she reinvents mystical landscapes and acid-tinged portraits, infusing a subtle contemporary aesthetic that enhances the singularity of her subjects. Her works aim to awaken consciousness on contemporary issues while creating an aesthetic reflection.
Convinced that an artwork fully comes to life through the gaze of its observer, the artist seeks to establish an open dialogue, where exchange and sharing flourish within a universe of light and color.
